This electronic referral system is in use for referring patients with emergency/urgent spinal conditions for advice on their management.
Please note it is usually expected that before referral cases have been discussed at middle grade or the consultant in charge of care of the patient.
You are responsible for the clinical information provided and recognise the importance of the accuracy of the information given in the decisions made.
In order to make a referral you must be registered with the General Medical Council and have an NHS email address. Referrals can be made without phone call but if you feel this is also necessary you are welcome to do so.
Any other users (as long as they have been approved by your trusts administrator) will be able to see the details of your referral and correspondence.
